Amphibic is a singer - songwriter plus orchestra, where Chamber - Pop meets Indie. Neal Hoffmann is the main man who loves dressing up his songs with strings, brass and piano.
The full line-up features a string quartet and a growing brass section around drums, guitar, piano and vocals.
In their former incarnation as an Indie-Pop band they have put out two records via Haldern-Pop Recordings in Germany. (Film in My Head/There Were Millions of Them)
They have appeared on a bill with Keane, Paul Weller and Nigel Kennedy and lent their cello player to the Divine Comedy. The song Hungry Man from There Were Millions of Them made it onto 'Switched At Birth' in January 2012.
Neal is busy recording songs for album number 3, the first 6 can be heard on a current EP, called Fleetwood Road Session Tasters.
